Evelyn, in words and pictures

On Thursday, Evelyn went to her parents’ traditional Thursday night watering hole.  Despite the crowd of people eager to meet her, she slept right through the whole visit.

Evelyn watched her first soccer game on TV on Saturday night.  She caught the second half of the USA/Honduras World Cup Qualifier.  Maybe it’s because her eyes couldn’t focus on the TV very well, but she missed Carlos Bocanegra’s game-winner.  Didn’t even join in the celebrations — she was looking the wrong way entirely.

We were also very pleased by Ecuador’s win over Peru.

It wasn’t very long before Evelyn showed her true colors.  Her daddy was extremely pleased – You can’t tell from this photo, but her eyes are a beautiful Thunder blue.

Not long after being born, Evelyn got her first  shampoo:

And of course Grandma and Grandpa Miller had to say hello.

All of this gave little Evelyn a great deal to think about.

Evelyn was born at 11:50 PM.
